"First of all let me begin by saying Patrick’s training methods work!! I have been working out for years and desperately needed to change things up a bit. Too much of the same routine. Although I was unaware, I had reached a plateau in my workouts and as a new father I had put on about 10-15lbs of unwanted weight. I met Patrick and observed some of his workouts with his clients at the Crest. More so than any other trainer I observed Patrick and his clients were having fun!!!(and more importantly they were breaking a sweat!!) He has a great way of pushing you that is both effective and encouraging. After speaking with him and discussing some goals and what sports I was interested in we devised a plan. As a 32 year old surfer and father of two, I was interested in devising a fitness plan that would make me a better surfer. We do lots of surfing specific exercises that incorporate balance and strength and I have seen dramatic results both in and out of the water. The great thing about the workouts is we never do the same thing; we are constantly changing the workout to keep it new and fresh. We do many exercises that I would have never thought of by myself. I have witnessed great results since beginning with Patrick in late July. We meet once a week for an hour and I have lost about 10-12lbs and most importantly I feel like I am in the best shape of my life. I would recommend Patrick to anyone who wants to get in great shape and feel great about themselves. I am still working with Patrick and will continue to do so. He has completely changed my mind-set on what it takes to be truly fit!! With Patrick, the workouts are all about intensity, very little rest between exercises and pushing yourself. If you are ready Patrick will take you to where you need to be. I am looking forward to my next surf trip and continuing my workouts with Patrick to make sure that I am ready for anything!
